Enter now for your chance to win tickets to the 28th Annual Alliance Française French Film Festival!
Asides from brie and baguettes, deep down we all secretly love a bit of French film. It could be said those guys really know how to capture the pure essence of the human condition and display it elegantly and eloquently. Or something like that.
There is no better time than now to polish off your bon soirs and get ready to mingle at one of Brisbane’s favourite film festivals. If you’re feeling lucky, enter the competition today for your chance to win a double pass to a Festival feature film of your choice.
How do you enter?
It’s simple! Just pop onto our Facebook page from 6 March and find the competition post we’ll have pinned to the top of our page. You’ll need to share the competition post and comment telling us the name of your favourite French film. If you want to launch into a dissertation about why, go right ahead (we’d love to hear it), but we just need the film name to give you a valid entry.
When is the draw?
The competition will be open until 5pm, Thursday 16 March so you have plenty of time to drop in to enter. We will be drawing the prize at 10.00 am on Friday 17 March 2017 and we will be announcing the winner on this blog article as well as on Facebook.
How do you collect your prize tickets to the film festival?
We’ll have the tickets available for collection from our South Bank campus. We’ll provide the winners with more information about where to find them.
EDIT: 17 March 2017 This competition has now closed. The winner is Kellie Shallue.
Starring our catering students
Our hospitality students have secured a hot gig catering at a couple of the Alliance Française French Film Festival special events. At these special event evenings during the film festival, our catering classes will be preparing delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared on the spot to delight the cultural crowd.alliance-francaise-french-film-festival-competition-terms-and-conditions
This festival is a fabulous opportunity to get involved in an amazing community event where you’ll be able to take in a French film or two and then spend the rest of your evening deconstructing it while sipping coffee. Even if you don’t manage to snap up a free double pass, definitely put the film festival on your to-do list.
